Day 5
Stonethwaite to Ennerdale Bridge
12.5miles 1500ft
Looking back down into Borrowdale as we climbed over towards Ennerdale

Buttermere and Crummock water as we headed into the clouds and rain!
....and again
After a wet crossing of the ridge we descended from the clouds into Loft Beck with Ennerdale below. Black Sail Pass and Looking Stead (fell) above

More threatening clouds but fortunately no rain as we headed down Ennerdale....

It was turning into a lovely sunny day as we started on the path down the length of Ennerdale
Time for lunch sat by the lake....
Continuing along the lake....
....and over the side of Anglers Crag
A final look back up Ennerdale before the short walk along the road into Ennerdale Bridge
Just one short day left to walk before arriving at St Mary's church Cleator for the pilgrimage service.
