Looking across Bleasdale to Fairsnape and Parlick

Looking ahead to Fiendsdale Head

Fairsnape and Parlick again

Fairsnape again above the source of the River Brock

Looking back across the Lancashire plain to the coast

Field patterns in Bleasdale

Descending Fiendsdale from the head of the valley

Langden Brook meandering down the valley....

....and the brook again up close

'Walking in a Winter Wonderland'

Boulsworth Hill & Lad Law from Wycoller, East Lancashire!

- 9miles 2000ft

Looking through 'The Atom' (panoptican) to the Wycoller valley

Here's the atom but who stole the nucleus?

The packhorse bridge in the hamlet of Wycoller

Looking across to Pendle hill from the Pennine bridleway

Being blown along the summit plateau by an icy wind

You're seldom alone on a summit despite the weather or perhaps
because of the weather

Dark skies over West Yorkshire

The appropriately named 'Weather Stones' between Boulsworth Hill
and Lad Law

The trig point on Lad Law today's highest point 517m - 1696ft
Pendle Hill on the horizon

Another view of West Yorkshire....almost in sunshine

The village of Trawden from the path back to Wycoller

Climbing back up to the parking area by the atom
