Base Brown, Green Gable & Kirk fell from Borrowdale 10miles 4000ft

I was chatting to the volunteer lads who were working to
'Fix the Fells'on the pic with the shed.
I told them about Lancashirecam  and they were happy
to be featured.
They also asked me to send their picture to Fix the Fells
organisers to put on their website. which I will do.

Looking down to the start at Seathwaite farm from the climb to Base
Brown

These three great lads were volunteers from 'Fix the Fells'.
 They do
a fantastic job repairing paths that are eroded and are dangerous or in bad condition.
A great big Lancashirecam thankyou to them!

This is what they were working on today

Now at the summit of Base Brown 2120ft....

....which afforded a great view of the Piers Gill route on Lingmell
fell where Danny and I were a fortnight ago

This was the view from the same place down into Borrowdale

Next came the summit of Green Gable 2603ft with Great Gable
straight ahead and Windy Gap below

Kirk fell my next climb, with its path to summit, can also been
seen

Descending from Windy Gap with Ennerdale ahead

Looking back to Great Gable from the climb up Kirk fell

Wastwater and Yewbarrow of last week's walk from Kirk fell

Yours truly posing on Kirk fell summit 2631ft

Gable crag, and I think Napes Needle is just visble towards the
bottom right corner

Now heading for Styhead tarn having climbed back over Windy Gap

Finally nearing the start at Seathwaite farm after crossing
Stockley bridge
