Beckfoot to Shap summit

(In reverse again with another icy north wind behind me)

10.5 miles 2500ft

Setting off from the layby on the A6 at Shap summit

'The other Borrowdale' ie not the Lakeland one

My next summit, 'Old High'....

A final climb took me up to Grayrigg Forest summit with the M6 motorway  below

....before the last stretch south, now with aching legs  back to Beckfoot
