Ravenstonedale to Outhgill via Wild Boar Fell (Yorkshire Dales) 9.5miles, 2000ft

Leaving Ravenstonedale with The Nab on the Northern summit of Wild Boar Fell clearly in view

Crossing Scandal Beck to Stennerskeugh hamlet

Approaching The Nab

Looking north across the Eden valley from the The Nab

The summit cairn on The Nab 702m (2303ft) with Garsdale Head behind

The cairns on High White Scar

Zooming in on the Settle to Carlisle line below

The wind shelter and the remains of the summit trig point on Wild
Boar Fell 708m (2322ft)

The view south across the very flat summit plateau to Ingleborough and Whernside

Looking west to Cautley Spout waterfall and the summit of The Calf - the highest point in the Howgill fells (especially for Danny!)

The Skiddaw and Blencathra ranges in the northern lakes on the
horizon

Looking back upto the The Nab from Mallerstang

A very dry upper river Eden at Outhgill
