Sunderland Point - a secluded corner of beautiful Lancashire

A selection of pictures from a walk around Sunderland Point in north-west Lancashire.

The start of the walk from the carpark in the village of Overton

The view across Morecambe Bay to the Furness peninsula. Black Coombe, the most southerly of the Lakeland peaks, is just visible.

Approaching the hamlet on Sunderland Point

A sculpture in metal in front of one of the cottages

Looking back to the hamlet from causeway. This becomes covered at high tide.
