Whalley - A circular walk

The start of a walk in the centre of Whalley

 How true!

The River Calder where it passes through Whalley

Looking back on the village from Whalley Nab

 Last of the Summer Wine?

 Looking across to Hambledon Hill

 Further up the River Calder

 Bluebells near Cock Bridge

Reed Hall Lodge at the entrance to Reed Park

Just in case you're not sure what it is!
Looking towards the iconic 'Whalley Arches', which carry the Blackburn to Settle railway

Back in the centre of Whalley

The Importance of Walking - No2

My grandad started walking
five miles a day when he was 60.
Now he's 97 years old
and we have no idea where he is!

  1. A great set of varied images. I enjoyed "The Importance of Walking" bit & also the last of the summer wine gang. Which one's Compo?
