Wet Sleddale, 'The Bungalow', Mosedale, Swindale, & Haweswater. 11.5miles 1600ft

The start from Wet Sleddale reservoir (Shap)

Walking up Wet Sleddale with Sleddale Hall top right

The view back down the valley to the reservoir

After approx 5 miles of a very wet - Wet Sleddale 'The Bungalow'
can just be seen!

....and then a little closer....

....until finally - lunch time!

Very basic, like all bothies but a life saver in an emergency.

Also a very comfortable resting place for lunch.

The 'Bunglalow' is the most remote bothy in England at the heads of
Wet Sleddale, Mosedale and Swindale

Now descending from Mosedale into Swindale.....

....with a view back to Mosedale Head

....before finally descending to Burn Banks by the Haweswater Dam

A wonderful and exhilarating day in total solitude!
