Arthur's Pike from Pooley Bridge 8 miles 1800ft followed by a short walk at Wet Sleddale reservoir

The River Eamont flowing out of Ullswater

Constructing the new "Pooley Bridge" a completely stainless steel
structure, the first of its kind.

This is where it will fit hopefully!

A very full Ullswater with Arthur's Pike on the horizon

The view down Ullswater from the climb

A pair of legs sat on the summit cairn 532m (1745ft) with nothing
else to photograph in the rain!

Looking down Elder Beck towards Pooley Bridge

Yet more rain on its way - will it ever stop!

Looking back at Arthur's Pike now clear of cloud

A brief look at Wet Sleddale and its reservoir....

....with a spectacular overflow

....and again.
