An Easedale Round (Grasmere) 11.5miles 3250ft

Leaving Grasmere over Easedale beck

Sourmilk Gill below Easedale tarn

Easedale tarn...

....and again

Belles Knott - Wainwright's "Matterhorn of Easedale" (with a very
long stretch of the imagination!)

Stickle tarn above Langdale

The summit of Sergeant Man 736m (2414ft)....

....closely followed by today's high point of High Raise 762m
(2500ft)

Great Gable from High Raise

Bow Fell and its 'Great Slab' from  High Raise

Now heading back towards Helm Crag from Calf Crag

The final climb of the day to the top of Helm Crag 396m

The Lion and The Lamb with Grasmere behind

Not quite what I expected to see on the top of Helm Crag!

Grasmere again from the start of the descent to the village

Zooming in on the village

A final look back across Easedale to the tarn and the first climb
of the day
