Coast to Coast - Day 14 (The last day) - Grosmont to Robin Hood's Bay

Zooming on Whitby from the last high ground of the moors

The path descends through Littlebeck wood......

..... passing 'The Hermitage' carved out of the solid rock in 1754.....

.....and down past Falling Foss waterfall

Maybeck joins Littlebeck above the falls 

The last of the autumn colours before leaving the woods......

......and on to the coast, at last! 

The first view of Robin Hood's Bay

A cold easterly wind blowing in off the sea

Walking down to Wainwrights Bar in the Bay Hotel

No pint or certificate at the end of this walk - 

just the satisfaction of completing it.
