Stanage Edge (Peak District National Park)

An explantion for walkers about the Edge

Approaching the Edge before starting the climb up to it.

The path climbs gently through woodland to start ....

.....with good views down the valley.....

.......before climbing a narrow path through the rocks to the top

Once on the top, the views of the surrounding Peak District are excellent

The Edge is approx 3 miles long.
This is around the middle section.

The rock faces are very popular with rock climbers!
