Coast to Coast - Day 6 - Orton to Kirkby Stephen

Livestock a-plenty today; some needing to be avoided included a herd with calves, a very large bull, six rams and a horse. 
These three took only a passing interest.

A train heading for Appleby on the Settle to Carlisle line; soon to be crossed.

Coast to Coast - Day 5 - Shap to Orton

Coast to Coast - Day 4 - Patterdale to Shap

Coast-to-Coast Day 3: Rosthwaite to Patterdale

Rosthwaite to Patterdale via Grasmere 16 miles 4,500 ft ascent. 

Leaving Rosthwaite at 8am along the side of the River Derwent. Heavy cloud cover after torrential overnight rain.
