 A few pictures from a recent walk to Harrock Hill, south of Maudesley

 Still a few autumn leaves despite recent strong winds

 The view west across the West Lancashire plain from the foot of the hill

 The remains of the 17th century windmill on the summit of the hill

 The windmill was unusual in that carts could be driven under mill to load or off load
