During the First World War 282 soldiers were treated at Stamford Military Hospital based at Dunham Massey in Cheshire. This year, to mark the centenary, the house has been transformed once more, complete with ward, recreation room and operating theatre. The stories of the soldiers, nurses and the family who lived here are recorded in the exhibition.
