Tarleton & Hesketh Bank

St. Mary's Church (Becconsall Old Church) on the A59 near Tarleton

Part of the Tarleton branch of the Leeds Liverpool Canal

Holy Trinity Church in the centre of Tarleton

The Library and the shopping centre

This cottage dates back to 1778. (Shame about the satellite dish!)

Part of the West Lancashire Light Railway.
This must be the shortest narrow gauge railway in the country - 150 yards long!

 A rather sad, old locomotive!

  1. Interesting pictures, especially the narrow gauge railway. Maybe it's only a short track but there's plenty for us photogs to keep amused!
